Editor's Note: Pursuant to Resolution 90-23 (4/3/90), the Lummi Indian Business Council changed the official name of the "Lummi Indian Tribe" to the "Lummi Nation." However, many of the codes and ordinances contained within Volumes I and II of the Lummi Code of Laws (2004) were enacted prior to the official name change. Therefore, all references to the Lummi Nation, the Lummi Indian Tribe, the Lummi Tribe, or Tribe should be considered synonymous.
