Tribal-state relations documents [cooperative agreements] - (National Congress of American Indians). The largest online collection of intergovernmental agreements between tribes and states related to law enforcement, taxation, human services, sovereignty, and gaming. (This collection no longer is available from the NCAI website, but can be accessed through the Internet Archive. Scroll to bottom of page for links.)
Some states post compacts to the websites of the appropriate department. For example:
- Michigan Gaming Control Board and Tribal-State Compacts in Michigan
- Arizona Department of Gaming.
- California Gambling Control Commission.
- The BIA also has a list of tribal-state gaming compacts.
Use the custom search engine at the Tribal Law Gateway to search the tribal codes and constitutions that are available online and may include intergovernmental agreements
