Proceedings for civil remedial forfeiture of property shall be instituted by the filing of a complaint in rem against the property in tribal court by an enforcing officer. A complaint shall be filed whenever an enforcing officer has a reasonable basis to believe that a tribal ordinance has been breached and the property is forfeitable under the tribal ordinance.Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
