The guardian shall settle all accounts of the ward and may demand, sue for, collect and receive all debts and claims for damages due him or her, or may, with the approval of the tribal court, compound and discharge the same, and shall appear for and represent his or her ward in all actions and proceedings except where another person is appointed for that purpose.Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
