Notwithstanding the provisions of this Code relating to descent and distribution, the family may distribute any artifacts and finery belonging to the decedent in accordance with the custom and traditions of the Bad River Band prior to the initiation of the administration of the estate. Such distribution shall be in accordance with directions left by the decedent, if any.Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
