13.01.040 Authority
This Ordinance is enacted pursuant to Article VI, Section 1(o) of the Constitution and Bylaws of the Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Economic enterprises chartered under this chapter are enacted under the auspice of Section 16 of the Indian Reorganization Act of 1934, 25 United States Code Section 476 (governmental powers) and shall not be deemed to be managed or otherwise formed pursuant to the Band's Corporate Charter pursuant to 25 Untied States Code Section 477.
