The purpose of this ordinance is to make available to the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians and its members opportunities for purchasing or constructing family residences on trust land within the Bad River Reservation. This ordinance accomplishes that purpose by setting up procedures for the orderly recording, lien prioritization, foreclosure and eviction with respect to leasehold mortgages given to secure loans.Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
