CSV.1.10.020 Open and Closed Season

(a) For the purposes of migratory bird harvesting, the season for all species shall be year around.

(1) Notwithstanding, the Tribal Governing Board reserves the right to establish a closed season for the hunting of migratory birds in any way it deems necessary at any time.

(b) Except as otherwise expressly provided by this ordinance, no member or duly authorized non-member shall take any migratory bird within the exterior boundaries of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and off-reservation lands under the jurisdiction and purview of the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe during an established closed season.
