The absolute immunity of individual Tribal Governing Board members alleged to have violated this ordinance is waived to the extent that the Tribe can pursue action for sanctions or penalties in connection with, or as a result of, unethical or improper conduct as established in this ordinance. This provision in no way waives the sovereign immunity of the Tribe.Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Code of Law.
