The Governing Board by affirmative vote of six (6) of its members shall remove any board member for any of the following reasons, PROVIDED, the accused member has been given an opportunity to answer written charges against him.
(a) Failure to carry out his official duties.
(b) Absence from three (3) successive regularly scheduled board meetings without an excuse acceptable to a majority of the members of the board.
(c) Conviction of any offense involving moral turpitude or conviction of a felony.
(d) Misuse of authority.
