The Tax Commission may abate any part of an assessment which it determines was incorrectly, erroneously, or illegally made, as long as such abatement is: (i) in response to a written request before any court acquires jurisdiction in the matter; and (ii) made after an original assessment is found to be incorrect.Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Code.
