(a) The Tribal Council hereby establishes the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Court System. The Tribal Court System shall consist of a Trial Court and a Court of Appeals. (b) The Tribal Court System shall maintain independence in its judicial operations from the Tribal Council to ensure a separation of Tribal governmental powers.Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Code.
