The court shall appoint a guardian ad litem for each youth that is subject to a proceeding under this code. The guardian ad litem shall be a state licensed attorney who is admitted to practice before the court, or a lay advocate who has completed guardian ad litem training and is admitted to practice before the court. Guardian ad litem fees shall be paid by the court.Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Code.
