All records, reports, proceedings, and orders in adoption cases are confidential and shall not be available for release or inspection. Information contained in such records may be released upon petition to the Youth Court by the adopted person after reaching legal majority. However, information may be released as necessary to amend the child's birth certificate.Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Code.
