25.1.8.060 Stop Lamps and Turn Signals Required on Designated Vehicles

(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell any new motor vehicle, including any motorcycle or motor-driven cycle, in this state or for any person to drive such vehicle on the highways unless it is equipped with at least one (1) stop lamp meeting the requirements of Sec. 66-3-828.

(b) No person shall sell or offer for sale or operate on the highways any motor vehicle, trailer, semi-trailer or house trailer which was manufactured or assembled after January 1, 1954, unless it is equipped with mechanical or electric turn signals meeting the requirements of Sec. 66-3-828.

This paragraph shall not apply to any motorcycle or motor-driven cycle.
