Any person who shall, with intent to defraud, falsely sign, utter, execute, alter or counterfeit any written instrument, check, or currency shall be guilty of forgery-and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to confinement for a period not to exceed six (6) months or to pay a fine not to exceed $500.00 or both, with costs, and may be required to make restitution.Pueblo de San Ildefonso Code.
