The provisions of this code shall not apply nor extend to any act done or offense committed prior to the taking effect of this Code, except as to matters of procedure and as to provisions alleviating the punishment to be imposed upon conviction in any case. An act or omission which was a crime prior to adoption of this Code and is a crime under this Code shall continue to be a punishable offense.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
