1.14.010 Definitions

(a) "Challenge" is an objection made to a potential juror to disqualify that juror from serving in the case.

(b) "Challenge to the panel" is an objection in writing made to all the jurors returned.

(c) "Panel" is a list of jurors returned by the board of jury selectors.

(d) "Peremptory challenge" is an objection to a potential juror for which no reason need be given.
