A sentence of fine, imprisonment, or both may be stayed pending appeal provided the Court is sufficiently satisfied that; (a) the appeal is not frivolous, (b) the appeal is not taken for the purpose of delay, (c) conditions of release reasonably assure the defendant will not flee, and (d) the defendant does not pose a danger to any person or the community.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
