13.07.030 Qualifications. Chief Clerk of Court
To become a candidate for an elected position, a person must:
(a) Be an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians; and
(b) Be twenty-five (25) years of age or older; and
(c) Have not been convicted of a felony; and
(d) Have not been convicted of a misdemeanor of fraud, embezzlement, forgery or thefts of monies entrusted to the Tribal Government; and
(e) Must reside within Rolette County; and
(f) Have a minimum of a two (2) year college degree or minimum of two (2) years experience as court clerk; and
(g) Have not been recalled from judicial office for a period of five (5) years prior to the election; and
(h) Furnish written proof for all requirements.
