The Tribal Council shall name one (1) of the commissioners as Chairperson of the Board. The Board shall elect from among its members a Vice-Chairperson, a Secretary, and a Treasurer, and any member may hold two (2) of these positions, except for the Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson. In the absence of the Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson shall preside; and in the absence of both the Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson, the Secretary shall preside.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
