17.01.010 Definitions

In this title unless the context or subject matter otherwise requires:

(a) "Alcoholic" shall mean any person who chronically and habitually uses alcoholic beverages to the extent that he has lost the power of se1f control with respect to the use of such beverages, or while chronically or habitually under the influence of alcoholic beverages, endangers public morals, health, safety, or welfare;

(b) "Alcoholism" shall mean the pathological condition attendant upon the excessive and habitual use of alcoholic beverages;

(c) "Board" shall mean the Counseling and Rehabilitation Board of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians;

(d) "Board" shall mean the Board of Commissioners of the Board;

(e) "Patients" shall mean persons who are under the supervision or care of the Board.
