A member may be removed from the Board by the Tribal Council or by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Board and upon the approval of the Tribal Council. The Board and the Council must show cause for such action in writing to the member in question and to the Tribal Council. One cause for removal shall be absenteeism from two (2) regular meetings in a row of the Board. The member in question shall have the right to appeal the action according to due processes.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
