The person starting an action shall be known as the plaintiff. The person against whom the action is brought shall be known as the defendant. In a situation where the person bringing or defending an action is a guardian ad litem, he shall also be known as the plaintiff or defendant as the case may be, but shall further be identified as guardian or guardian ad litem of the true party in the title of the action.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
