2.09.170 Jury's Failure to Agree

Whenever the judge shall be satisfied that the jury cannot agree on a verdict after due deliberation, he may discharge them and continue the case and if either party so demands, another jury must be selected as provided in this chapter.

The case shall be continued to such time as the Court thinks reasonable unless the parties or their attorneys agree on a longer or shorter time or unless they agree that the judge may render a decision on the evidence already before him.
