(a) A vacancy occurring in the position of Senior Hearing Officer or Alternate Hearing officer, other than by expiration of a term, shall be filled by appointment for the remainder of the unexpired term. The Tribal Council shall appoint the replacement in accordance with Section 22.10.020 of this chapter. (b) A Hearing Officer may be removed by the Tribal Council for cause after due notice to the Officer and an adequate opportunity to be heard.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
