26.13.220 Harassment

It shall be unlawful and a Class [3] three offense with the purpose to annoy or alarm another, to insult, taunt, or challenge another in a manner likely to provoke a violent or disorderly response or to make repeated communications anonymously or at extremely inconvenient hours or in offensively coarse language.

(a) Communicates in writing or by telephone a threat to inflict injury to any other person, to any person's reputation, or to any property;

(b) Makes a telephone call anonymously or in offensively coarse language;

(c) Makes repeated calls, whether or not a conversation ensures, with no purpose of legitimate communication; or

(d) Communicates a falsehood in writing or by telephone and causes another mental anguish.
