26.20.180 Penalty for Mutilating or Destroying Forestry, Fire Prevention, Fire Danger, Fire Control Signs; Destruction of Gates

(a) Whoever intentionally breaks down, defaces, mutilates, removes, or destroys any forestry, fire prevention, fire danger or fire control sign commits a Class 2 offense. Such person shall also be held financially responsible for replacement costs.

(b) Whoever intentionally and without authority breaks down, mutilates, removes or destroys any gate(s) erected to control access to or upon any fire trail, fire access road, or designated park and recreation trail or road shall be found guilty of a Class 2 offense. Such person shall also be held financially responsible for replacement and installation costs.
