29.03.040 Certificate of Incorporation
(a) Upon filing the Articles of Incorporation and payment of the filing fee, the Tribal Secretary, if the Articles are in conformity with this Title, shall issue a Certificate of Incorporation. The Certificate of Incorporation shall be in the following form:
CERTIFICATE OF INCORPORATION
WHEREAS, Articles of Incorporation duly signed have been filed in the Tribal Secretary of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians on the ____________ day of ____________, 20____________, for incorporation of ____________ (name of corporation); and
WHEREAS, the Articles of Incorporation are in conformity with the requirements of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indian Constitution and laws;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, _____, Tribal Secretary, do hereby certify that the said ____________ is a legally organized and validly existing corporation under the laws of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.

(b) Upon the issuance of the Certificate of Incorporation, the corporate existence of the corporation shall begin. Certification assures that the corporation is in compliance with the organizational requirements of this Title, but not that the corporation is in compliance with any other provision of law.
(c) In the event the Article of Incorporation do not comport with this Chapter the Tribal Secretary/Treasurer shall issue a Notice of Denial of Corporate Charter in compliance with this Title.
