When a witness does not understand and speak the English language or is otherwise incapable of expressing himself so as to be understood by the judge and jury or other official receiving the testimony, the Court shall procure and appoint a disinterested person who is capable of understanding and interpreting the language or expressions of the witness to act as an interpreter.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
