The judge himself or any other juror may be called as a witness by either party; but in such case it is in the discretion of the Court or judge to order the trial to be postponed and to take place before another judge or jury. When an attorney is a witness for his client upon any trial except as to merely formal matters such as the attestation or custody of an instrument or the like, he shall not further participate in such trial.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
