If a Commissioner shall die, resign, be incapacitated or leave the reservation or be removed from office, the Tribal Council shall appoint an eligible person to fill the vacant position for the remainder of the term of the office of the Commissioner whose position it has to fill.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
