35.05.100 Accidental Trapping

(a) Any person who captures a non-target or protected animal shall immediately release the animal.

(b) In the event the captured animal is killed while in the trap, said animal shall be left in the trap and the Tribal Game Warden shall be notified within 24 hours for instructions of disposal.

(c) Injured non-target or protected animals that are captured shall be immediately reported to the Department who may transport the injured animal to the nearest rehabilitation facility.
