35.14.130 Unattended animal in motor vehicle

(a) An individual may not leave an animal unattended in a motor vehicle without ensuring that the animal's health and safety is not endangered.

(b) A law enforcement officer may use reasonable means to enter a motor vehicle and remove an animal left in violation of this section.

(c) An individual who violates this section is guilty of a Class 1 Offense.
