38.01.120 Following Too Closely

The driver of a motor vehicle shall not follow another vehicle more closely than is reasonable and prudent, having due regard to the speed of such vehicle and traffic upon and condition of the highway. Any driver who follows to close will be assessed a civil penalty of not more than thirty-five dollars ($35).
