40.10.020 Storage of Solid Waste

Solid Waste shall be stored according to the following provisions:

(a) Rubbish shall be stored in an approved container or in a manner that will confine the waste in one area, and not create a public nuisance. Bulky rubbish such as tree trimming, newspaper, weeds and large cardboard boxes shall be handled as directed by the Solid Waste Director. Where garbage separation is not required, containers for the storage of mixed rubbish and garbage shall meet the requirements specified by the Solid Waste Director.

(b) Garbage shall be stored in containers approved by the Solid Waste Director.
