Except where otherwise indicated, the effective date of this Code shall be the first day of the month following its approval by the Tribal Council. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Tribal Council may delay implementation of this Code following such approval in order to facilitate ease of transition from previously enacted severance tax provisions.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
