A tax is hereby imposed on the severance of any and all oil, condensate, natural gas, methane gas, casing head gas, or processed gas and associated liquid products from the Tribe's territory. Notwithstanding the foregoing, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide gas are specifically exempt from this severance tax, unless such substances or their constituent components are produced and sold commercially.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
