47.03.020 Prohibition on Dumping of Waste of the Oil and Gas Industry

It shall be unlawful to dump or leave behind sludge, drill cuttings, filter socks, and pit liners, among other materials waste, and or byproduct, tailings, and or any other waste at a drill site or upon any land within the Territory and Jurisdiction of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.

Violations of this provision shall result in a civil forfeiture up to $25,000 and imprisonment up to one year.
