It shall be unlawful to dump or leave behind sludge, drill cuttings, filter socks, and pit liners, among other materials waste, and or byproduct, tailings, and or any other waste at a drill site or upon any land within the Territory and Jurisdiction of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. Violations of this provision shall result in a civil forfeiture up to $25,000 and imprisonment up to one year.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
