(a) This title establishes the requirements for the licensing, cultivation and processing of hemp. The purposes of this Plan are to: (1) Promote the production of hemp, and the development of new commercial markets for farmers and business through the sale of hemp products; (2) Promote the creation of the Tribe's hemp industry to the maximum extent permitted by law; and (3) Regulate hemp as an agricultural commodity in compliance with Federal law.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
