Seduction is the carnal knowledge of a man of an unmarried woman or child of previously chaste character, accomplished by means of some false promise, trickery, flattery, or deception. It is not sufficient by itself that the plaintiff show that the defendant had sexual intercourse with her. Where a woman submits to intercourse with a man on the strength of a promise of marriage, it is seduction.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
