If a minor is under the age of twelve (12) years, the Court may nominate and appoint his guardian. If he is twelve (12) years of age, or over, he may nominate his own guardian, who, if approved in the discretion of the Court, shall be appointed accordingly.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
