A license to marry becomes effective throughout the Turtle Mountain Tribal Jurisdiction three (3) days after the date of issuance, unless the Turtle Mountain Tribal Court orders that the license is effective when issued and expires on hundred eighty (180) days after it becomes effective.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
