Constitution and ByLaws of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians North Dakota

Section 5.

The newly elected district representatives (Councilmen) and officers shall be installed in office at the first regular meeting of the Tribal Council after certifications of their election have been issued by the Secretary-Treasurer. In no event shall an individual convicted of a felony be installed into office. (Amendment XXI, Approved February 5, 1997).
