CSV.2.6.100 Bow/Crossbow Restrictions

No member shall hunt deer:

(a) With a bow having a pull of less than 30 pounds or using an arrow that does not have a broadhead; or

(b) With a crossbow unless the crossbow:

(1) is fired from the shoulder;

(2) has a minimum draw weight of 100 pounds, except;

(A) compound bows equipped with a draw-lock type mechanism that holds the bow at full draw are exempt from the 100 pound draw requirement (30 pound minimum still applies [Section CSV.2.6.100(a)]).

(3) has a stock of not less than 30 continuing inches in length;

(4) has a working safety; and

(5) is used with arrows or bolts of not less than 14 inches with a broadhead.
