CSV.2.7.230 Removal and Retention of Tags

(a) No member who kills a bear pursuant to this ordinance shall remove a registration tag from the carcass until such time as the carcass is butchered or when the bear is prepared by a taxidermist.

(b) No member who kills a bear pursuant to this ordinance shall dispose of the registration tag until the meat is consumed or except in accordance with the provisions of Section CSV.2.7.250(h) [Transfer of Tags Upon Sale].

(c) Any person who receives any bear meat as a gift or pursuant to Section CSV.2.7.240(b)(1) or Section CSV.2.7.240(b)(2) [Sale to Members] from a member who retains a registration tag under this section is not required to possess a registration tag.
