TCT.2.14.030 Summary Procedure

The judge presiding in an action or proceeding may impose a sanction upon a person who commits a contempt of court in the actual presence of the court. The judge shall impose the sanction immediately after the contempt of court and only for the purpose of preserving order in the court and preserving the authority and dignity of the court. A violation of Section TCT.2.14.010 Section TCT.2.14.010(c) or Section TCT.2.14.010(e) may be considered under this section even though the contemnor does not appear in court.
