Section GMG.02.06 — Donations To Charitable Organizations

(a) The Tribal Council may allocate a maximum of ONE PERCENT (1%) from General Welfare, Section GMG.02.05, in order to provide funding for donations to charitable organizations.

(1) Any revenues allocated to funding for donations to charitable organizations that have not been expended as of the last date of this fiscal year may, at the Tribal Council's discretion, be allocated to the purposes set forth in Section GMG.02.07 or be allocated to funding for donations to charitable organizations for the subsequent fiscal year, or be allocated 50% into long-term investments and 50% into charitable organizations for the upcoming fiscal year.

(b) The Tribal Council shall consider requests for charitable donations under this section, pursuant to the Tribal Council Donation Policy.
