21.04.110 Commission Employees and Expenses

(a) The Commission may employ such employees and incur such expenses as may be necessary for the proper discharge of its duties subject to the limitations and restrictions set out in this section.

(b) Upon the approval of the Council by resolution, the Commission may utilize regular Tribal staff to exercise the duties and responsibilities set out in this title.

(c) The Commission may delegate to the Tribal staff by

Rule such of its functions as may be necessary to administer this title efficiently, consistent with the limitations of this title.

(d) The total amount disbursed by the Commission in any one fiscal year for the payment of salaries, expenses, and incidentals shall not exceed the amount appropriated therefore by the Council. The Commission shall submit to the Council a line item proposed budget for the next fiscal year not later than July 1st of each year.
