26.09.050 Accessory After the Fact

(a) Any person who, after a crime has been committed; harbors, conceals or aids an offender in with the intent that the offender may avoid or escape from arrest, trial, conviction or punishment, having knowledge that the offender has committed a crime, been charged with a crime or convicted of a crime is an accessory after the fact and shall be guilty of Class [3] three offense.

(b) A person shall be charged and convicted accordingly for which any classification is applicable to this section regardless of whether the principal has been charged or convicted.
